The Most Beautiful Islands to bring Matching Mermaid Pool Floats for a Beach Holiday
When the weather turns cold and you’re stuck in your apartment shivering under layers of blankets, nothing sounds better than lying on a beach on a tropical island. Under the glorious sun, feeling sand between your toes, the waves washing up over the shore and a lush green jungle behind you. Instagram knew exactly what you wanted when consecutive ads for mermaid floats, bikinis on sale and low-cost plane tickets popped up on your story reel. Well, it’s time to give in and book a beach holiday for your next break! Here are the four most beautiful islands to have an exotic getaway.
Fiji Islands
The vast Pacific Ocean holds some of the world’s most stunning islands, and the Fiji Islands are no exception. Famed for its’ rugged landscapes and coral reefs, it draws numerous tourists looking for a tropical getaway. The archipelago is made up of more than 300 islands, and the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands are most popular and are situated further up north from the main island of Viti Levu. English is very widely spoken here, making it an ideal destination for Westerners. It’s a highly versatile beach destination, whether you are after a luxurious honeymoon, or a budget backpacking trip, or a family holiday. The snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming are unparalleled here thanks to the warm blue waters that are home to an array of reefs and marine wildlife. The surfing is also superb thanks to the consistent surf breaks that lie on the exposed edges of the reefs. Animal lovers will be exhilarated to know that there is very rich wildlife, like glorious manta rays, friendly dolphins, exotic birds and even 3-meter long tiger sharks (don’t go too close to them though, tiger sharks are known to be ferocious predators, second only to the great white!). You can spend long, lazy days with a cocktail in hand enjoying the lush tropical breeze or set off in search of adventures. You will have no shortage of excitement in this beautiful paradise.

Seychelles
This archipelago of 115 islands sprawl across 650 miles in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of East Africa, and is bathed by sunshine all year round. Its’ remoteness makes it all the more alluring — while tenuously considered part of Africa, it is 900 miles from the continental mainland and 500 miles north-east of Madagascar. There are three main islands, all of which are extremely different in landscapes — Mahe is the capital, where the airport and 90% of the population are located. Foresty Praslin is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Vallee de Mai National Park and La Digue is a serene stretch of dreamy beaches. Its’ beach, Anse Source d’Argent, is world-renowned as one of the most beautiful for its’ seclusion and Old World vibes. And of course, there are all the other smaller islands if you want something even more remote. You can definitely find your dream island, depending on whether you want to snorkel, hike through rainforests, or see the rare giant Aldabra tortoises. Also, Prince William and Kate Middleton made this their royal honeymoon destination, so that should add a nice fat brownie point to “Reasons To Visit Seychelles”.

Turks and Caicos Islands
The beautiful archipelago of Turks and Caicos are coral reefs, mostly uninhabitable, but for the eight that are, they are certainly such sights to behold. The strips of beaches run long and the waters are shallow and clear, stretching far beyond into the horizon. What makes Turks and Caicos so special is how secluded they are. There are no noisy crowds, no fighting for a spot on the deck chair, the beaches here are tranquil and perfect for a little solitude. Grace Bay Beach is a true gem — 12 miles of snow-white sand beaches with crystal clear waters tinged with beryl tones, a result of the unique crushed pink coral seafloor bottom. The surrounding reef makes the currents gentler and hence safe for swimming. Foodwise, shellfish and fresh catch of the day are staples, so make sure you get your fill here!
